Another user experienced a similar problem: 1. DisplayPort plugged in and the audio output device set to "HDMI/DisplayPort" 2. Laptop suspended and unplugged 3. Resumed laptop a while later While changing volume, the output device is still set to "HDMI/DisplayPort".
