Description of problem: When typing in the name filter text box on the Groups page, the table updates periodically. When this happens, the text in the filter text box becomes selected and continued typing will replace the text. This can be frustrating since users are likely to pause after typing a few characters, wait a moment for results to show up, then continue typing if they do not yet see what they are looking for. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to Groups page 2. Type a few characters in the name filter text box 3. Wait a few seconds Actual results: Text in name filter text box is selected. Expected results: Name filter text box does not have any change in selection or cursor position.
This defective behaviour seems to be for Chrome - Firefox pushes the cursor to the start of the input but does not select. Either way, both behaviours are incorrect.
The fix for this should be… remove that search and add groups to the header search. For now. Once we redo the project list page a new group list page should be simple enough.
