Description ryanj 2014-02-06 22:50:03 UTC
Description of problem: invalid user workflow - I clicked on the "My Apps" link in the header while on the OpenShift home page (https://www.openshift.com). I was sent to a "Welcome to Openshift" dialog that told me that I was about to create my first app.

I expected to see my list of current applications instead of text suggesting that I have never previously created any apps.

This content is probably intended for users who have no previous cookie (or session state) and no previous apps, but not for users with an expired session state (who have previously created apps).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): spotted in OpenShift Online on Thursday, Feb 6.

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an account and at least one app.
2. Go to the www.OpenShift.com home page.
3. Wait for your session to expire.
4. Click on "My Apps"

Actual results:
See attached screenshot.

Expected results:
I expected to see my list of current applications instead of text suggesting that I have never previously created any apps.
This content is probably intended for users who have no previous cookie (or session state).
It is useful for first-time users, but confusing for current users (who have apps and expired sessions).

Additional info:
Clicking on "Create your first application now" leads to the login page.

How long did you wait in step 3, and was this consistently recreatable?
