The artifact meta-data is an XML file. It appears that Safari doesn't display that very nicely, but also doesn't prompt you to download the content. I'm open to suggestions re: what to do about this. What about displaying metadata in the same way as artifact's source? That's not a bad idea, although the feature was intended to be a "download" vs. a "view" of that data. Of course, it's sort of moot since I'm not really sure if that meta-data is really useful in any case. It's not clear that users would be able to really use it for much of anything. I will probably either remove the feature or try to force the browser to download the content (I believe there may be a way to do this).
