Description of problem: I could not find a way to report issues in upstream git in github issues. yum-builddep command used to check for root permissions and if its not run as root it gets exit but the current dnf builddep command checks for packages, prepare a transaction and then checks for root permissions. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): upstream dnf-plugins-core git How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: dnf builddep does not check for root permissions. Expected results: dnf builddep should check root permissions. Additional info: I do have noroot plugin installed but its not working for builddep command.
