why is this splitted in 3 packages on koji? the "nss" package itself is still not built for F20 but for F21 [root@srv-rhsoft:/downloads]$ /bin/ls -1 | grep nss nss-softokn-3.15.5-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm nss-softokn-freebl-3.15.5-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm nss-util-3.15.5-1.fc20.x86_64.rpm
(In reply to Harald Reindl from comment #1) > why is this splitted in 3 packages on koji? The reason for this is explained at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/SplitSoftoknFromNSS > the "nss" package itself is still not built for F20 but for F21 The f20 build is going on right now http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=6581377
Notice that for Rawhide we only have nss and nss-util at this moment. Currently investigating why the nss-softokn-3.15.5 build fails on i686 for Rawhide. See https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/5862
OK i read https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/SplitSoftoknFromNSS but i still wonder because i updated the other packages last night, looked with "lsof | grep DEL" which services / binaries needs a restart and after update "nss" itself the same software needs to be restarted - so in the meantime these software uses different parts of NSS at the same time what i still don't get is why the sub-packages can not be built at the same time without generate hard requirements because as far as i understand the source-tarball is the same, usually subpackages are handeled in the %files sections a good example for a lot of subpackages from the same tarball with the same build is PHP and it's module-rpms
