Description Leon Fauster 2014-02-19 10:27:35 UTC
Missing TLS1.2 in openssl (backport/update) - for RHEL5

The TLS1.0 protocol has in the wide sense security issues and
until 2017 (RHEL5 Support) it should be considered has obsolete.

Any plans to address this situation (RHEL6 got this support in the last release)?

Thanks for any feedback.

Comment 1 Tomas Mraz 2014-02-19 17:51:24 UTC
No, we do not plan to update openssl in RHEL-5 to a version that supports TLS-1.2.
