Description of problem:
Our Jenkins plugins are not available. Both Updates and Available tabs are completely empty and we have no way to install community plugins

How reproducible:
Seems to be quite reproducible. You explain to his the update button on the advanced tab, but that doesn't work: https://www.openshift.com/kb/kb-e1071-installed-jenkins-ci-server-how-do-i-lookup-and-install-plugins

It's claimed that the plugins can be updated in Firefox, but it hasn't worked for me in FF or Chrome. It just goes to the screen "Checking for updates", but does nothing.

Please see the comments in the duplicate bug which describe how to configure FF+Chrome to work properly.  The issue is that jenkins is serving mixed http+https content, which chrome+FF block by default.
