There is no direct way to prealocate empty pages in EFP to speed up normal qpidd operation.

I am assuming this refers to empty files?  Right now there is no utility to populate or maintain the EFPs. However, continued usage of linearstore over a period of time will cause a pool of files to accumulate provided there is not an ever-increasing number of queues.

It is my intention to write a simple utility that can be run while the broker is running to check on the EFPs and keep them full of empty files if they are becoming depleated.
