In JON, on the connection settings tab of the inventory tab on an EAP 6 standalone server, you can set environment variables and command-line arguments to be passed to the EAP standalone start script. This information should be saved down to the actual start script or configuration file, so that if someone restarts the EAP instance from outside of JON it will still have these parameters and environment settings.
Additional JAVA_OPTS are appended to the end of standalone.conf and standalone.conf.bat. This setting will append to previous JAVA_OPTS and will override previous values. This configuration is done via "Connection Settings" tab of Inventory main tab for standalone servers. This is not available for domain or host controllers. To remove the RHQ added configuration just unset the value and the configuration will be cleaned of any traces of RHQ updates. This feature does not work if the user does not use standard standalone configuration files.
