Description Stephen Herr 2014-02-28 22:30:11 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #970277 +++

1. Proposed title of this feature request
System Group Errata Type Selection

3. What is the nature and description of the request?
When applying errata to an individual system there is a drop down box to show all Security (or Bug Fixes, or Enhancement) Errata. If you add servers to the SSM there's no similar functionality.

4. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
When updating 500+ servers less often than monthly errata piles up. If a customer wants to only apply security errata they have to add all servers to SSM then select all security errata out of a list of over a thousand errata. This is time consuming and mistake prone.

5. How would the customer like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)
A drop down box similar to what exists currently for an individual server would be ideal.

6. For each functional requirement listed, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented.
Make sure that there is a method to select only Security (or Bug Fix or Enhancement) Errata when applying errata to a SSM group
