Description Sandro Mani 2014-03-06 23:24:49 UTC
Description of problem:
mesa-10.1-0.rc2.20140225.fc21 and subsequent versions cause display corruption on an IvyBridge IGP in the form of parts of white patches on the screen flashing randomly, as well as some static white patches (such as in attached screenshot). Also, moving windows around is terribly laggy.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot into KDE with kwin desktop effects enabled
2.
3.

Actual results:
Corruption is visible immediately, windows lag when moved around

Additional info:
Last working version is mesa-10.1-0.rc2.20140222.fc21.

mesa-10.1-1.20140305 solves the laggyness and seems also the flashy corruption, but there still is some static corruption, i.e. in thunderbird some text and some pixmaps are white (see screenshot).

Flashy corruption just started happening again after panning around a while in google maps.
