Description Simon Matter 2003-10-19 12:05:10 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install the star rpm
2. which star
3.

Actual results:
star is in /usr/bin/

Expected results:
star should be in /bin/

Additional info:
star belongs where tar and cpio are.

Comment 1 Jeff Johnson 2003-10-19 13:47:45 UTC
Star provides little additional functionality than tar, and
is less widely used. That's the rationale for /usr/bin
rather than /bin.
