Since two weeks, after some updates, logging in gnome-shell on Fedora 20 gives a strange display, where icons and graphics are badly layed out, making it almost unusable. In my case, the only way to resolve the problem is to issue the "gnome-shell -r" command in a terminal (alt-f2 is not responding) then logging out and reloging in.

This problem has been reported by other users. See: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/117616/gnome-3-desktop-display-gone-rogue

Reproducible: Always

Additional information: As suggested by some users, I've tried to set gsettings org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor to 1 (instead of 0) , but without success.

Latest gnome-shell update seems to have fixed the problem.
