Description of problem: When trying to apply patch via webconsole, during file selection for upload a confirmation is required. From UX view: the requirement for confirmation is rather hidden when only text is changed and it gives feeling that it is broken (I need to click button next twice), if confirmation is supposed to be required, it should be more visible. Functional reason: When I decide to change my opinion and select different patch, it suddenly doesn't require confirmation. Whether the confirmation is required should be consistent. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): EAP 6.2.0.DR3 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to webconsole -> Runtime -> Patch management 2. click on Apply a New Patch, select some file 3. click next (confirmation is required, not very visible) continue for inconsistency issue: 4. you changed your mind and you choose different patch 5. click next - no confirmation is required Actual results: once confirmation is required and once not + confirmation message is not very visible Expected results: consistent behavior and more visible request for confirmation Additional info:
How about removing this extra verify step? It doesn't add much value IMO.
Patch confirm step removed.
Verified with EAP 6.3.0.DR5
