Description Gordon Watson 2014-03-13 15:03:25 UTC
Description of problem:

The capability of editing NFS, Posix or Local storage domain connections was introduced in RHEV 3.3 via BZ 835543. However, I do not see any documentation on how to do this in the current manual set for 3.3.

There is a reference to BZ 835543 in the Technical Notes manual that states;

"Previously, it was not possible to alter the parameters of connections to storage domains (NFS, POSIX, and local) in Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization. This update provides administrators with greater management capabilities that allow them to alter connections to storage domains after they have been created. These capabilities are available both in the Administration Portal and via the REST API."

However, I don't see any other reference to this new functionality in any of the other manuals.

Yes, Gluster's storage connection is editable as well.

However, this change was introduced only in Bug 1168686 which is targeted for 3.6, so we need to verify that we are not documenting a feature which is not yet published.
