Still valid. These commands work as expected: dnf repoquery /usr/bin/2to3 dnf install /usr/bin/2to3 but having "dnf search 2to3" work as well would provide a better experience. AFAIK it's a matter of listing the tools in the description. The fix can be combined with bug #1111275.
