A stable release for gst-editing-services was released on Mar 16: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/gstreamer-devel/2014-March/046902.html
I tried this out, and it turns out it breaks pitivi. I tested the old and new versions of python-gstreamer1 and gnonlin and it's definately GES that breaks it. I'll file a bug with pitivi.

From the Pitivi bug: "It is already fix in pitivi master. The 0.93 release is comming very soon :)"
Heads up, the 0.93 Pitivi release is now available (announcements coming up, but the tarballs are on gnome's FTP servers as usual). Release notes here: http://wiki.pitivi.org/wiki/0.93
Thanks, I tried it and it all works, I'll get this out ASAP.

Looks like there is a dependency problem in the spec file: pitivi 0.93 requires at least gnonlin 1.2 (and likely also gst-editing-services >= 1.2). If a user updates to pitivi 0.13 but does not update gnonlin and/or gst-editing-services pitivi won't start. Should I file a separate bug for that or do you just want to fix it here?
The updates pitivi and gst-editing-services are linked, and I've also got one in the pipe for gnonlin: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2014-4153/gnonlin-1.2.0-1.fc20 I'll push them all at the same time.
