Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:

Running ipa-server-install causes AVC denial to be logged.

How reproducible:

Deterministic.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run /usr/sbin/ipa-server-install --setup-dns --forwarder=<forwarder-IP>  --hostname=qe-blade-10.testrelm.test -r TESTRELM.TEST -n testrelm.test -p <password> -P <password> -a <password> -U

Actual results:

avc:  denied  { search } for  pid=14809 comm="java" name="net" dev="proc" ino=1309 scontext=system_u:system_r:pki_tomcat_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:sysctl_net_t:s0 tclass=dir

Expected results:

No AVC denial.

Additional info:

Filing against ipa component in case this is some problem with some of the applications it integrates. Please reassign accordingly after initial triage.

Really? I used no external-ca option.
