The RHL9.0 boot.iso works fine on my 2-cpu L440GX+ w/ Adaptec. The Fedora Core 1 Test 3 boot.iso does not. It hangs when loading the adaptec driver -- as if the kernel had no apic support built in and we're again subject to the infamous 440GX PIRQ issue. 100% reproducible, just boot the boot.iso CD. kernel parameters "apic", and "acpi=on" have no effect.
