Description Eric Harney 2014-03-20 16:20:24 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1056037 +++

Bug 1056037 is tracking an effort to build a more robust status polling mechanism for long-running snapshot-delete operations for the GlusterFS Cinder driver.

For now, we can make this failure caused by jobs running too long less common by increasing the timeout period. (Already changed in upstream Icehouse.)

This will not completely fix this issue but will at least make it less likely to occur for some users.

Since nobody really waiting for that solution right now, we'll deliver it as a part of 5.0 only.
