this is not a feature but a mere bug. When browser is not supported we should not continue with opening the client's window (noVNC too?) yes. but according to comment 0, it does actually open correctly/works? no, the client is not working actually - it's not clear in the bug description. the bug is only about the dialog stating it doesn't work and then it openes a useless tab/window ok, rhevm-webadmin-portal-3.6.0-0.15.master.el6.noarch (also tested in UP) spice-html5 option is disabled (grayed out) in console options when using IE11 and there's valid info from diff (...not supported for IE...). |
Created attachment 878077 [details] screenshot Description of problem: Using SPICE-HTML5 console types displays 'This feature is not supported by your browser.' but then clicking OK new windows with spice-html5 console is opened. So not supported means what? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhevm-userportal-3.4.0-0.5.master.el6ev.noarch / ie9/10/11 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. try to open spice-html5 console in ie9/10/11 2. 3. Actual results: odd warning then spice-html5 new windows is opened Expected results: either block opening new window or be silent :) Additional info:
