Description of problem:
A long loud beep is emmitted from speakers when the sound card is initialised

When the sound card get initialised it emits a log high pitched beep for 2-4
seconds but is then OK and continues to work and will play music as expected.

The chipset is an ALI chipset on a Acer Travelmate 524TXV (TM-520 series)
