Bad PDF output

Description of problem:

PDF Export function produces bad output for cropped graphics, sometimes.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libreoffice-writer-4.2.2.1-7.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:
The output is wrong every time I export it, but I'm not sure what is the dependence on the source. I haven't seen this before, and I've use cropping in the past.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add graphic to file
2. right click > picture > crop tab
3. Make adjustments and print to PDF.

Actual results:
Cropped image is not cropped, although image border is smaller than full image.

Expected results:
Crop should hide parts of image.

Additional info:
I'm not sure what type of graphic this is; I can't find the original source file. Plus, the original document was created with and older version of libreoffice (F19). But, I copied the image from the old document into a new document and was able to reproduce the error.

Comment 2 Michael Stahl 2014-03-28 14:03:20 UTC
it's a regression, worked in LO 3.6.7 but broken since LO 4.0 (with the new SVG implementation)

Comment 3 Eric M 2017-08-04 01:08:09 UTC
This is still broken in 5.3.4.2. Importing images in either jpeg, or eps, and cropping results in incorrect exported PDFs. Also, just closing the ods file and reopening using the same LibreOffice results in loss of aspect ratio somehow.
