Insight: "Configure Storage" can be activated only after the host comes up, which might take some time.

Comment 3 Raz Tamir 2014-04-01 11:08:07 UTC
I Checked this also and it doesn't matter

Comment 4 Tal Nisan 2014-06-30 15:18:46 UTC
Raz, just to make it clear, you follow through on the the guide me after you created the data center and:
- Created a cluster
- Added/selected a host
Then closed the guide me dialog since the host is added/selected in maintenance mode, activated the host, selected the data center again and clicked on "Guide me"?
Cause otherwise it doesn't supposed to work since the host doesn't get auto-activated and even if so the "Guide me" dialog doesn't poll the host to see if it becomes activated

Comment 5 Raz Tamir 2014-07-01 14:00:26 UTC
Hi Tal,
I didn't close the guide me dialog after selecting host.

Comment 6 Tal Nisan 2014-07-01 14:33:53 UTC
In that case obviously it will not be updated, non of the dialogs in webadmin are polling data actively, once the dialog is created it's static unless there's manual interference by the user.
You should close and reopen the dialog when the host is up in order for it to update correctly
