Description Jeff Vance 2014-03-31 20:41:05 UTC
Description of problem:
The install script needs to create the hive and hcat users (if they don't exist), and create the app/ and app/webhcat/ dirs. The new dir owners are hive and hcat respectively. The new dir perms are 0775.

Tested and verified on RHSS-2.1.bd-20140219.n.0 with rhs-hadoop-install-0_85-1.el6rhs.noarch:

# tree /mnt/glusterfs/ -fpugi
  ...
  [drwxrwxr-x hive     hadoop  ]  /mnt/glusterfs/apps
  [drwxrwxr-x hcat     hadoop  ]  /mnt/glusterfs/apps/webhcat
  ...

# getent passwd hive
  hive:x:493:495::/home/hive:/bin/bash
# getent passwd hcat
  hcat:x:494:495::/home/hcat:/bin/bash
