Description Martin Pavlik 2014-04-01 14:18:05 UTC
Created attachment 881368 [details]
/var/log from host

Description of problem:
Adding RHEV-H to RHEV-M makes RHEV-H interfaces managed and they cannot be controlled via TUI any more. Removing RHEV-H from RHEV-M should make the interfaces unmanaged again.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager Version: 3.4.0-0.12.beta2.el6ev
Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor release 6.5 (20140320.0.el6ev)

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install RHEV-H (interfaces in Network -> Available System NICs, are shown as configured/unconfigured)
2. add RHEV-H into RHEV-M (interfaces in Network -> Available System NICs, are shown as manged)
3. remove RHEV-H from RHEV-M (Hosts -> your RHEV-H -> Maintenace -> Remove

Actual results:
RHEV-H interfaces stay in managed state in TUI

Expected results:
RHEV-H interfaces get back to configured/unconfigured or at least unmanaged, and can be configured via TUI

Comment 5 Fabian Deutsch 2014-04-01 15:15:23 UTC
Moving this to the vdsm plugin, as this is responsible for removing the RHEV-M related configuration after the "unregistration".

Comment 8 Doron Fediuck 2015-04-19 14:32:11 UTC
Removal of a hypervisor from a setup will not change it (with the exception of
hosted engine).
