Description of problem: When trying to open a URL from a HTML email displayed with w3m (VM as email client), recently (after updates about 2 months ago?) this fails with error message like "w3m error in process sentinel: synmbol's function definition is void: --post-body--63118" Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): emacs-common-w3m-1.4.435-0.5.20110225cvs.fc20 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: Example (similar error messages come up in other contexts as well) 1. Read HTML email with embedded URL in VM (which uses w3m for display) 2. Click middle-mouse on URL 3. Click yes on question "follow untrusted link" Actual results: Error message Expected results: Firefox will open new tab to browse selected URL Additional info: The problem seems to be known and is reported fixed upstream in Version 1.4.483, see http://emacs-w3m.namazu.org/ml/msg11934.html https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=677431 Would an upgrade in Fedora be possible?
