Description of problem: The iSCSI 'Add a New storage pool' box has a tick box 'IQN:' with a text entry. This is confusing/wrong since what that really is, is a way to specify the initiators iqn, and since the source path is also an IQN it's just confusing, since if someone was told 'here is the iqn of your disk' they'd think they'd want to put it in there. Suggestion: Change 'Source Path' to Source IQN' Change 'IQN:' to 'Initiator IQN:' Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): virt-manager-1.0.1-1.fc20.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the details tab for a connection 2. Go to the storage tab and click the + to add a new storage pool 3. enter a name and select 'iscsi: iSCSI target' Actual results: A dialog with an IQN: tick box and entry (as well as other stuff) Expected results: See above Additional info: I got to this after seeing the discussion in bz 967433
Thanks for the suggestion David, fixed upstream now: commit 8fa2aad1d31f811bb09505595c6401bdf6b90d78 Author: Cole Robinson <crobinso> Date: Thu Apr 3 11:19:03 2014 -0400 createpool: Clarify iscsi IQN fields (bz 1084011)
