Description of problem: under /usr/lib/systemd/systemd theres a directory: dbus.target.wants but systemctl status dbus.target says 'no such file or directory' Either the dbus.target shall be added, or dbus.target.wants shall be removed. For a test, i have renamed dbus.target.wants to 7dbus.target.wants7 and the system still works fine, as far as i can see. aloss, the dbus.socket symlinked in dbus.target.wants, worked fine both before and after this renaming. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): $ rpm -q dbus dbus-1.6.12-8.fc20.i686 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: maybe this was introduced by moving from dbus 1.5 to 1.6?
dbus.target used to be provided by systemd in versions prior to 21 (released in March 2011), but was removed in favour of dbus.socket. There is no need for these files in any current version of Fedora, and I have a local patch which removes them, which I will push to Rawhide in a few days.
Fixed in Rawhide, and will probably be backported to some of the stable branches (after the recent security updates go stable).
