Created attachment 883196 [details]
the described impress document

Description of problem:
I have an Impress document with 43 pages and a table in the last page. Opening this document takes a long time. If I remove this last page, the open process goes fast as expected. Why this difference?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libreoffice-4.2.3.3-1.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the attached document
2.
3.

Actual results:
Very slow opening process

Expected results:
The open process is similarly fast as without the last page

Comment 1 Joachim Backes 2014-04-06 10:39:08 UTC
1. Trying the same doc under UBUNTU 12.04 LTS with libreoffice-3.5.7.2 opens immediately
2. The slowdown effect is independent from the position of the page with the table: Moving that page to the beginning of the document and trying to open slows down too!

Comment 2 David Tardon 2014-04-07 11:27:26 UTC
The table does not even look very complicated... I will check what is going on there.
