For some reason 3 finger clicks (3 finger clickfinger) generate right click events instead of middle click events, this is wrong. Note that the T440s clickpad only tracks 2 fingers, so this is likely an issue with not properly seeing a 2 finger click with BTN_TOOL_TRIPLETAP set as 3 fingers.
For whatever it's worth, this bug also affects the T540p model.
Hi All, Here is a scratch build with a fix for this: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=6728782 Please give it a try (once it has finished building). Note this also contains some udev rule tweaks, so you will need to reboot after installing it to get everything to work properly. As explained before you will need to be running kernel >= 3.13.9 for this to work properly. Thanks & Regards, Hans
Hi Hans, Your fix works very well on my T540p. Three-finger middle-click works now, and I have observed no regressions in other clickpad behavior. Thank you, John
