Description of problem:
-------------------------

Errors of the form "Error: No DS called '23' in rrd" are seen for the graphs for some of the network interfaces seen. See screenshot attached.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gluster-nagios-addons-0.1.0-12.gite5d1e45.el6.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have not seen any pattern in particular, this just happens when a RHS node is being monitored by the nagios server (also running on a RHS node in the cluster)
2. Check the network utilization service graph for the node.

Actual results:
Some graphs are not shown and instead an error of the above form appears in a red colored area.

Expected results:
The graph should be shown correctly, or if there is an error, it should be meaningful.

This has to be fixed and hence taken in.

Comment 6 Shruti Sampat 2014-06-11 11:39:30 UTC
Re-opening this BZ as I see similar errors with the build gluster-nagios-addons-0.1.2-1.el6rhs.x86_64

This is seen on a VM with multiple network interfaces. See screenshot attached.

Bala, I can share my setup if you need to take a look.

Comment 10 Bala.FA 2014-06-13 07:33:02 UTC
upstream patch http://review.gluster.org/#/c/8059/ is under review

Comment 11 Shruti Sampat 2014-06-18 08:47:52 UTC
Verified as fixed in gluster-nagios-addons-0.1.4-2.el6rhs.x86_64, nagios-server-addons-0.1.4-1.el6rhs.x86_64

1. Started monitoring a node that had one network interface up, using Nagios.
2. Configured another network interface on the node.
3. Verified that network utilization graphs for both interfaces appear correctly.
