Created attachment 886753 [details] Output of "journalctl -b /usr/bin/gnome-session" Description of problem: I installed lightdm and created a new user and coosed lightdm as greeter with system-switch-displaymanager. I restarted X11. Then I tried to login as this new user into gnome3. Result: Only seeing a screen with the (well known): Oh no! Something has gone wrong. Please log out and try again. Login in again shows the same phenomena, and so on... No problem to start a kde session with lightdm, or to login root into a gnome3 session with lightdm.
