Hi, thanks for the bug report. However, the birdie upstream has stopped development on version 1 of birdie, and are going for a complete rewrite for version 2. As such, no new versions of birdie 1 will be released, so closing this one as wontfix. If you are after a twitter client in Fedora that is actively developed on and maintained, Corebird is available in fedora.
