Description Steven Usdansky 2014-04-20 11:54:09 UTC
Description of problem:
kernel modesetting fails with all rawhide 3.15 kernels

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-3.15.0-0.rc1.git4.1.fc21.x86_64
xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-1.0.10-1.fc21.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install a 3.15 kernel
2. reboot

Actual results:
No kernel modesetting. Console remains in low-restext mode. startx will not start X

Expected results:
kernel modesetting works. Console switches to higher resolution mode. startx causes X to start properly

Additional info:
Reverting to kernel-3.13.7-200.fc20.x86_64 eliminates the problem.
