Description Toshiya Kobayashi 2014-04-21 03:00:11 UTC
I got a report that "Project Explorer" disappeared in "Project Authoring". See attached screenshot (locale is ja_JP). Clearing browser cache doesn't help. A problem is that there is no menu to restore "Project Explorer".

The reproduce step is unknown so it's difficult to chase down the 'root cause' (If I can reproduce, I will file one more BZ). However, if Workbench has a feature "Reset perspective" which allows a user to go back to the initial perspective layout (per user), this kind of issues wouldn't be serious.

Expected result:

- If a user clicks the "Reset perspective" menu, all perspectives for the user will be reset to the initial (default) layout.

Here is a knowloedge base article for those who visited this BZ, which lists some workarounds.

* "Project Explorer" disappeared from "Project Authoring" page in BRMS/BPMS Business Central console

(But still this BZ is important for customers)
