Description Hisanobu Okuda 2014-04-22 03:18:21 UTC
Description of problem:
"apachectl -v" does not show vendor information and shows fake version, though the real version is different from the one it's based on:-

# /path/to/httpd/sbin/apachectl -v
Server version: Apache/2.2.22 (Unix)
Server built: May 8 2013 03:34:40

It should be like:-

# /path/to/httpd/sbin/apachectl -v
Server version: Apache/2.2.22 (Red Hat Enterprise Web Server) (Release 2.2.22-18.ep6.el6)
Server built: May 8 2013 03:34:40

Jean-Frederic, do we need to fix this?

Comment 3 Jean-frederic Clere 2014-06-17 05:52:49 UTC
I think we should do it in EWS 3.0.0

Comment 4 Weinan Li 2014-06-17 06:45:46 UTC
We will need to rebuild and patch an include to change the messages, and it will affect EAP products because it's using httpd from EWS. We suggest to discuss this for EWS 3: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JWS3-12.
