This is a tracking bug for Change: TCL/TK 8.6 For more details, see: http://fedoraproject.org//wiki/Changes/f21tcl86 Update tcl/tk from 8.5 to 8.6 in Fedora 21.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 21 Accepted Changes Freeze Deadline is on 2014-07-08 [1]. At this point, all accepted Changes should be substantially complete, and testable. Additionally, if a change is to be enabled by default, it must be so enabled at Change Freeze. This bug should be set to the MODIFIED state to indicate that it achieved completeness. Status will be provided to FESCo right after the deadline. If, for any reasons, your Change is not in required state, let me know and we will try to find solution. For Changes you decide to cancel/move to the next release, please use the NEW status and set needinfo on me and it will be acted upon. In case of any questions, don't hesitate to ask Wrangler (jreznik). Thank you. [1] https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/21/Schedule
Hi Jaroslav, I wrote a beat about the changes in TCL/TK for Fedora 21. Could you have a look at it and see if it's correct or if you'd like to add anything else. You can find the text here, under "TCL/TK 8.6": https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Documentation_Development_Beat?rd=Docs/Beats/Devel Thanks a lot! Yoana

I would add the following: tcl: Thread-enabled Operations: A thread-enabled default build, a bundled Thread package, and new command interp cancel make Tcl 8.6 ready for your multi-threaded programming tasks. and maybe one more for tk (but this is not important :) Angled Text: New option -angle $degrees to $canvas create text for rotating displayed text.
Hi, Added the new information, edited slightly: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Documentation_Development_Beat?rd=Docs/Beats/ I replaced "thread-enabled operations" with "multi-thread operations" because of too many "enables" on the same line. Does it still make sense? Yoana

In case of any questions, don't hesitate to ask Wrangler (jreznik). [1] https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/21/Schedule
This feature is 100% completed.
Based on comment #7, moving to ON_QA.
