I installed the new package and rebooted my system until i got the "weird behaving sound card issue", and then I tested this game to see whether the bug is gone: The terminal still says "Aborted (core dumped)", but this time ABRT doesn't show up. So I conclude that this bug is NOT fixed by speed-dreams-2.1.0-18.trunk_r5781.fc20 I would expect speed-dreams to not crash, but simply load the race without sound. I will retest with speed-dreams-2.1.0-0.20.20140627svn5799.rc2.fc20 as soon as I can reproduce the "weird behaving sound card issue" again.
