Tomas tried to rebuild remmina for the libgcrypt soname bump back on 04-24, but it failed:

http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=512993

I'll take a look and see if I can figure out why.

Comment 3 Adam Williamson 2014-04-28 20:14:27 UTC
so, turns out this is a non-trivial compatibility issue with newer versions of freerdp, and wouldn't be an easy fix (just for the Bugzilla record). we can drop it from the xfce live image to make that compose again, but we would need to find a real fix for people who actually want to use remmina...

Comment 4 Christoph Wickert 2014-04-29 16:10:22 UTC
I think we should remove remmina from the Xfce live media anyway. We just added it becauase back in the days it still had an xfce4-panel plugin and integrated nicely.

I am currently unable to maintain remmina as I simply don't have the time to follow the latest FreeRDP development. Both are making progress, but they are not doing any stable releases for quite a while. Bugs are only fixed in master and not backported, so maintainance is very cumbersome.

I agree with this. With remmina in Xfce live or the default Xfce install configuration, it will prompt dependency failed during install rawhide. So I think remove it from CD and make it just left in the repo is a good way for this issue at this moment.

I do not think so. According to Comment #3 I think this bug is not fixed and still need to be fixed.

However, If it need a long time, I think this can be marked as DEFERRED instead of CLOSED if you have the permission.

Comment 8 Christoph Wickert 2014-05-22 11:35:26 UTC
Assigning bug to new package maintainer.

Comment 9 Pavel Alexeev 2014-07-18 08:45:39 UTC
