Description of problem: Error when accessing ModemManager through dbus: "GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.ModemManager was not provided by any .service files". Πhe same problem: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1031407 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Linux version 3.13.9-200.fc20.x86_64 ModemManager 1.1.0(2.git20130913.fc20)
Fedora ships with ModemManager1 which has changed API and thus has a different D-Bus service. So prepaid-manager-applet needs update to run on Fedora 20. Anyway, why do you prepaid-manager-applet at all? Is something missing in nm-applet/nm-connection-editor or mmcli? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1031407 ***
Are in the habit of used gnome-modem-manager to ussd requests. Fedora-19 he still worked. mmcli --3gpp-ussd-initiate fit, didn't know about.
