The closest I can make birdie to the top of my desktop

Description of problem: Can't place birdie client at top of desktop. The closest I can get is approximately the height of normal window title bars. Birdie's title bar seems "special". Gnome shell version is 3.10.4-3

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.1.1

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start birdie
2. Place mouse in title bar and press left mouse button
3. Drag mouse to top of desktop.

Actual results:
There appears to be something blocking moving the birdie window to the top of the desktop The amount of spacing appears to be approximately the size of a normal window's title bar. Its behaving as if birdie has a transparent title bar above its "special" one.

Expected results:
I should be able to place it at the top of the desktop like other apps.

Hi, thanks for the bug report.

However, the birdie upstream has stopped development on version 1 of birdie, and are going for a complete rewrite for version 2. As such, no new versions of birdie 1 will be released, so closing this one as wontfix.
