Description of problem: I just tried a few times to install Fedora 20 from the netinstall ISO. My box has 512 GB of RAM and 80 cores (40x2). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 20 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.try to install, it dies and a message shows up "pane is dead" 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: it should work Additional info: Please notice that I am not trying to rescue an existing installation, this is a brand new install. It fails. I can give the developers the public IP of my DRAC, and see if they can figure out the issue. The DRAC is the Dell remote control device. The OS can be installed from anywhere in the world with Mozilla and Java .
Note: The DVD also fails to install with the same error. Any workaround? I cannot wait for RHEL 7, so my option seems to be to change distribution.
Could you attach the log files from the installation environment to the bug ? Preferably as separate plain-text attachments. The log files are in /tmp and you can switch to a shell by pressing ctrl + b and then 2 (the installation is running in tmux and this is a shortcut for switching to the second window, which has the shell). You can then copy the logs for example to a usb drive or scp it to a different computer.
