Description of problem:
Started rawstudio from a KDE icon.  Worked okay when started from the command line.  This is a brand new install of Fedora 20, but I saved some of the older environment, ~/.whatever files and directories, and a couple of them have caused problems with new versions of the apps, but I don't know if that's the case here,
