Description Summer Long 2014-05-08 04:46:44 UTC
Description of problem:

From Nir Magnezi's review of the ICG:

11.3.1. Create the OpenStack Networking Database
 in 11.2.6 you specify that ovs and lb as monolithic plugins are deprecated,
 but here you guide the user how to create those monolithic plugins
 databases. this seems like a conflict to me.
 1. how-to create neutron_ml2 db --> http://openstack.redhat.com/ML2_plugin
 2. packstack (and perhaps foreman-installer) supports neutron ml2
 installation.

Assigning to Martin Lopes, as the author responsible for OpenStack Networking.

Ready for QA once package has been created.

Sorry, Martin, but what's the number/header for the DB creation procedure (and which step did you hit)? There is no 'creating the database' section.

Comment 18 Summer Long 2014-06-22 22:53:38 UTC
Text looks good. But shouldn't you create the database before connecting it? If the chapter is sequential, then 12.5.6 should follow 12.5.7 (so same question for referring to 12.5.3 in 12.5.7)? Then you could use neutron_ml2 as the example database.

Cleaning up tense usage in DB parameter.
