I have been trying out Zanata for Mozilla Firefox localization, where there are bunch or dtds and properties files together placed for translators.

If I would have a support of multiple project types (say dtd and properties both together), it makes life easier for Mozilla translators at this stage.

In future also we may work on projects that may deal with multiple file formats together!

There is some discussion around this already. See bug#1035959

Indeed, we aim to dismiss the concept of a project type, and just allow the user to upload what they want.
As indicated in 1035959, this will take quite some effort.
