There is already python-celery3 present in Fedora as subpackage of python-celery. I would recommend to ask for co-maintaing epel6 branch of python-celery and update it there.
Indeed, this looks more like an update request than a request for a new package. Reassigining to proper component. Please feel free to revert if you still think a new package review is needed. Currently recent build for epel6: python-celery-2.2.8-2.el6 mrunge 2013-10-09 17:50:31 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2013-11807
Now with right Product and Version, as well.
I'm happy to accept co-maintainers, but I am hesitant to upgrade celery in epel6. Are you still interested in this?
Nope. Request timed out.
