There is already python-celery3 present in Fedora as subpackage of python-celery.

I would recommend to ask for co-maintaing epel6 branch of python-celery and update it there.

Indeed, this looks more like an update request than a request for a new package.

I'm happy to accept co-maintainers, but I am hesitant to upgrade celery in epel6.
