Description Davide Repetto 2014-05-13 22:16:53 UTC
Description of problem:
The wine menu folder is not displayed under mate. Instead wine-installed programs end up under the "other" category.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
wine-1.7.16-2.fc20.x86_64
mate-menus-libs-1.6.0-5.fc20.x86_64
mate-applets-1.6.2-1.fc20.x86_64

Is this duplicated with Bug 1097454 ?

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1097454 ***

Comment 3 Wolfgang Ulbrich 2014-07-03 16:50:36 UTC
With mate-menus-1.6.0-7 the main wine menu displays now correctly.
But alot of wine applications display under "other" category.
I don't think that this is a mate-menus problem.
The issue is that those apps ignore the wine menu.
So closing this issue as a duplicat isn't correct, imo.

I'd suggest bringing it up with upstream.
