Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 1098448
virt-who dies when the system is being unregistered
Last modified: 2016-11-30 19:32:56 EST
virt-who should still run on unregistered system. When the system is being unregistered, subscription manager sends virt-who SIGHUP signal to reconfigure itself. There is a bug in the signal handler that causes virt-who to die.
Upstream commit that fixes this issue: https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/virt-who.git/commit/.
This has been fixed by rebase to virt-who-0.11-1.el7, see bug 1122489.
After system has been unregistered, the virt-who service still run normally. Therefore, Verified it on virt-who-0.11-2.el7.noarch.
